Summer makeup is all about that shining glow, isn’t it? The peach, bronze and dusty pink blushes make all the difference for a sun-kissed finish! During the warmer months, cream blushes are your go-to for a light yet vibrant glow. The smooth texture is great to work with as it blends perfectly, leaving your skin with a dewy look.

An important step for applying cream blush is to moisturise your skin thoroughly before you use it. The hydration helps to create a glowing look and makes the skin ready for the application of the natural cream blush. After that, you can apply your foundation – if you like to do so – and put on the cream blush with your fingers. Concentrate on the apples of your cheeks and rub it carefully up your cheeks.

If you are anything like us, you will love these natural cream blushes that provide you with a radiant summer glow.

1. Rituel de Fille – Inner Glow Crème Pigment

This multi-use cream blush is highly pigmented and available in seven different colours. For summer, we recommend “Delirium” which is a vibrant nectarine hue with a golden touch and a subtle shimmer. A great pick for a beachy makeup look. Its creamy texture makes it super easy to apply. It is not considered vegan as it contains beeswax.

2. ILIA – Color Haze Multi-Use Pigment

As you may already know ILIA is one of our favourite natural makeup brands. This vegan-friendly 2-in-1 cream blush will not only look great on your cheeks but also on your lips. It is enriched with jojoba and coconut oils but still leaves a matte finish. You can choose from four shades, all of them highly pigmented. Our favourite for the summer is the orange, peach shade “Stutter” for a vibrant glow.

3. RMS Beauty – Signature Sets

RMS Beauty provides two signature sets – “Mod Collection” and “Pop Collection”. A great choice if you are looking for an allrounder as these sets have everything you need. The super convenient sets include a bronzer, highlighter, two lip and cheek tints and a lip and skin balm. On top of that, it is certified as organic and cruelty-free, but not vegan.

4. Kjaer Weis – Red Edition Refillable Compact Cream Blush & Cream Blush Refill

A cream blush that is natural and comes in a sustainable packaging. This product is designed to be refilled, a clever solution to the beauty industry’s waste problem. All you have to do is, buy Kjaer Weis’ refillable container, made of 100% recyclable and compostable paper, and the cream blush refill. If it is used up you will only need to replace the content. The organic formula has nourishing ingredients like jojoba and Rosa Rubiginosa seed oil in it, the latter is a natural weapon against ageing. This UK-based ethical beauty brand is organic and eco-friendly, however, they also use beeswax in their formula, which makes it non-vegan.

5. Chantecaille – Cheek Gelée

This cream blush is for everyone who is looking for a sun-kissed look. It has a gel-like, smooth consistency that almost feels like you are not wearing makeup at all. A perfect summer must-have as its high water concentration helps to hydrate your skin. The intensity of the blush’s colour is easy to adjust to your preference. You can even use it as an eyeshadow. We would go for the shade “Lively” which has a gorgeous peach nuance. This cheek gelée is known to be vegan!
