It can be challenging to find the perfect skincare product, especially if you are looking for something that ticks all the boxes: natural, clean, sensitive, cruelty-free, vegan. Whatever it might be for you, we hope we can give you some inspiration for your skincare routine with our editors’ must-haves. They share with us their ultimate go-to products to nourish their skin.
Every skin has different needs and it is nearly impossible to find something that fits all of us. But hopefully, we can help you discover your number one with our natural skincare favourites. There’s one thing we can probably all agree on: if we find a natural beauty brand or clean product that works well for us, we will stick to it. Our editors are no exception, some of their picks have been in their makeup bags for quite some time. Let’s discover their natural skincare gems!
What are our editors’ most-loved skincare products?
Lily’s pick – Fashion Editor Contributor
Brand: Ren
Product: CLEAN SKINCARE CLARIMATTE CLARIFYING TONER | £18.00 (currently £11.88)
“I’ve been using the Ren clarifying toner for over 5 years and it’s become a go-to, fail-safe product in my skincare! It’s very gentle, has a nice, natural smell and is vegan and cruelty-free. It’s great for acne-prone skin and it works well after cleansing to take off any residual makeup!”

Brand: Darphin
Product: INTRAL ENVIRONMENTAL LIGHTWEIGHT SHIELD SPF50 | £37.43
“This is my favourite product to use all year round regardless of the weather. I have been living in big cities for the past 8 years and protecting my skin from pollution has always been a priority. This product contains wheat proteins that help protect the skin from pollution. It’s a very gentle and lightweight cream, perfect for skins that tend to redness, dehydration and sensitivity. I use this product every day because it contains SPF50 (100% mineral) but doesn’t clog your pores. The sheer fluid leaves the skin feeling fresh and moisturized and can be used as a makeup base.”

Brand: Environ Skin Care
Products: Skin EssentiA® MILD CLEANSING LOTION | £37.00
Skin EssentiA® BOTANICAL INFUSED MOISTURISING TONER | £39.00
Skin EssentiA® VITA-ANTIOXIDANT AVST MOISTURISER | £48.00
“I’m fully obsessed with Environ Skincare, it’s a South African, chemical-free brand, and their Essential Vitamin A range has honestly changed my skin – wouldn’t use anything else. I have their whole skincare routine so cleanser, toner and moisturiser. With the moisturiser you build up your levels: so you start on level 1 and do 2 bottles of that and then work up to level 2 and so on. I looked it up and vitamin A is one of the ingredients in retinol so it makes sense to build up your resistance.”
“I also use SkinCeuticals and love their Vitamin E drops/serum and their hyaluronic acid serum.”
Brand: SkinCeuticals
Products: C E FERULIC ANTIOXIDANT VITAMIN C SERUM FOR NORMAL/DRY SKIN | £140.00 H.A. INTENSIFIER SERUM – HYALURONIC ACID SERUM | £90.00
The daytime vitamin C serum contains protective elements for the skin like 15% Pure Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid), 1% Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), and 0.5% Ferulic Acid. The ingredients help with signs of ageing and it is meant to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, leaving the skin with a fresh glow. According to SkinCeuticals, it is suitable for normal, dry and sensitive skin types.
As a multi-functional serum with hyaluronic acid, it firms and plumps the skin. Hyaluronic acid is meant to regulate moisture levels in the skin and should be especially beneficial during the ageing process of the skin as our bodies‘ hyaluronic acid production starts to decline.

Brand: Dr. Hauschka
Product: CLEANSING CREAM | £16.00 (currently £12.80)
“Admittedly, I have never really been much of a beauty person because I like to keep things simple and minimalist when it comes to skincare products. However, over the years I have found my bits and bobs that make all the difference. Dr. Hauschka’s Cleansing Cream is one of my absolute favourites as it makes my skin smooth and radiant. I use this natural product every other day and it exfoliates and cleans my face gently. On top of that, it is vegan and organic. I think it works so great for my rather dry skin because it also moisturises my skin with nurturing ingredients like almond meal and Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract. If you tend to get oily skin, I think this product might not be the perfect fit for you.”

Cleanser
Brands: Biossance and Antipodes
Products: SQUALANE + ANTIOXIDANT CLEANSING OIL | £25.00 JULIET SKIN BRIGHTENING GEL CLEANSER | £24.99
“Double cleanse in the evening is a must. I always start with an oil-based cleanser that removes all makeup and impurities but it is gentle at the same time. Right now, I am using Biossance Squalane Antioxidant Cleansing Oil and as my double cleanse I like to use gentle and natural options - I am loving Antipodes Juliet Skin Brightening Gel Cleanser at the moment.”

Serums
Brands: Dr. Barbara Sturm and Esse
Products: HYALURONIC SERUM | £85.00
PROBIOTIC SERUM | £100.00
“Hyaluronic is a must for me, the hyaluronic serum from Barbara Sturm makes my skin feel hydrated and fresh. In the evening I use Esse’s Probiotic Serum, which feels absolutely amazing and if you have any skin imbalance this helps regulate it within 1-2 uses!”
Creams and oils
Brands: Antipodes and Neighbourhood Botanical
Products: BAPTISE H2O ULTRA-HYDRATING WATER GEL WITH HYALURONIC ACID | £29.99
THE DAILY GLOW FACIAL OIL | £28.00 (currently £22.40)
AVOCADO PEAR NOURISHING NIGHT CREAM | £34.99
“For the hotter months, Antipodes Baptise H2O Ultra-Hydrating Water Gel works wonders: light but extremely hydrating. I love using The Daily Glow Facial Oil by Neighbourhood Botanicals because it is perfect for a nice facial massage at the end. I apply The Daily Glow Facial Oil on top of Antipodes’ water gel if it’s not very hot or humid. You could also apply it before – it keeps the hydration in place. When my skin feels dry I like to use Antipodes avocado pear in the evening.”
„Antipodes Kiwi Seed Gold Luminous Eye Cream can’t be missed in my morning and evening routine!
Noemi Plaza - Founder of Keisei Magazine
The eye cream is infused with 23K gold flake particles, which is meant to have a brightening effect and should give your skin an instant glow. The grape and kiwi extract helps your skin look energetic and improves elasticity and firmness. It is rich in antioxidants and therefore the cream protects the skin from environmental aggressors, blue light, UV rays and pollution. On top of that, it has also an anti-ageing effect. Antipodes recommends this light eye cream for dry skin. It is free from parabens, sulphates and phthalates but it is only certified as vegetarian not vegan.
Tools
Products: MINI FACIAL TONING DEVICE | £167.00 (currently £131.00) ANTI-AGEING SKINCARE DEVICE | £349.00 (currently £239.00)
“These are everything to me. I like to be consistent with tools, they make all the difference. Tools will help your products to be reabsorbed efficiently, help you with toning the skin and mussels, collagen promotion, etc. I use the NuFACE mini in the morning and NEWA’s radio frequency device in the evening religiously 5 times a week – always after the cleansing.”
SPF
Brand: ILIA Beauty
Product: SUPER SERUM SKIN TINT SPF30 | £46.00
“My favourite is from ILIA – it hydrates, protects and gives you a glowing coverage!”
The Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF30 is a light-coverage, tinted, mineral SPF that is available in 30 different shades. It contains a blend of hyaluronic acids, plant-based squalane and niacinamide. This is the perfect allrounder as it combines skincare, makeup and sun protection. It shields the skin from UVA, UVB, UVC, blue light, and infrared. According to Ilia, their skin tint is suitable for all skin types and clinically tested to also be suitable for sensitive skin.
