Your New Natural Skin Savior In 3 Steps

By Melinda Mettai

Whether you are switching to natural beauty or you are an advocate of natural skincare already, you will find your happiness here. I tried a lot of organic and natural face masks in the past, and I am confident to say that I finally found my 3 life savers. And they work on every skin type from sensitive to oily skin!

Here is how I use them.

Step one: Exfoliate

Have you ever heard about Fruit Acids also know as AHA? It’s a gentle resurfacing peel.

Active ingredients in this mask:

Cranberry: Rich in antioxidants, cranberry is a very effective anti-aging active ingredient. The fruit’s acid is powerful and help refine skin texture, smooth fine lines and tighten the pores of the epidermis. It’s a superfood and a cosmetic superplant.

Hibiscus: The hibiscus flower is composed between 10% and 15% of many organic acids. Among them we find citric acids, which are excellent astringents. The acids of hibiscus nibble on dead cells and leave skin supple, smooth and contribute to complexion radiance. Hibiscus flowers also contain flavonoids, which have a recognized antioxidant and therefore anti-aging power.

Glycerin: Glycerin is a hydrophilic compound with hygroscopic properties, it has the power to absorb and retain water, which makes it a super active moisturizer. It maintains water in the skin to keep it plumped and hydrated throughout the day.

I use it once a week or when I feel that my skin needs a peel off. If you have imperfections you can use it two to three times per week on the affected area.

Step 2: Cleanse

Absolution is the perfect brand for sensitive skin affected by acne. It uses very gentle ingredients.

It contains only organic and natural active ingredient like:

White clay: Absorbs impurities and tightens pores without drying the skin.

Mate: It is a regenerating, which contains many minerals and vitamins (A, C, B1, B2, K) that will wake up your complexion.

Birch: It is particularly rich in tannins. It purifies the epidermis and helps to calm down irritations.

I use it once to twice a week depending if I have imperfections or not. It will leave your skin super fresh.

Step 3: Hydrate

Last but not least, my ultimate favorite mask! Especially during winter days, it smooths, hydrates and removes any dirt I can have on my skin.

The magical active ingredient in this mask is the one and only Manuka Honey.

Manuka honey is known for being an active ingredient that has antibacterial and antiseptic properties ten times superior to other honeys, and which provides deep hydration.

Pohutukawa is a powerful antioxidant extract from New Zealand.

Purely vegetable scent of vanilla and tangerine. It will leave your skin clear, clean and comfortable.
