From the earthy tones to the retro knitted co-ordinate pieces, 1970’s fashion was all about experimenting with traditional silhouettes and mixing colours, patterns and textures.
The decade saw a variety of subcultures all with their own distinct styles. While Freddie Mercury and Ziggy Stardust gave birth to glam rock, Stevie Nicks and Joni Mitchell were the epitome of Boho Chic.
To celebrate the individualism of the 70’s, we have styled some of our favourite pieces inspired by the 1970s and created effortlessly cool looks for everyday!
Look 1: The Terracotta Bohemian Maxi
Inspired by the Bohemian maxi dress styles of the 70’s, we’ve paired this gorgeous terracotta Arkitaip maxi with some seriously cool sustainable accessories.
For an effortless day-to-night look pair your maxi with the perfect classic flatform sandals and gold jewellery. For that extra 70’s vibe, we’ve added an adorable straw bag from Worn Studios and a pair of chic aviator shades.
